Linen thread is made from the string-like fibers of the flax plant. Coyuchi flax is grown in Belgium and France, where it has been farmed for over 400 years. Linen has 2-3 times the strength of cotton so it’s incredibly durable making it easy to care for, especially since it naturally resists dirt, stains and pilling You will love linen in the summer because of its coolness despite the substantial weight. - Coyuchi products are machine washable. We recommend using warm water, non-phosphate soap in the washing cycle, and a cool, tumble or line dry. The best way to dry, in our opinion, is to hang dry your Coyuchi products on a clothesline outside, capturing and bringing the magic of the outside back in. The use of bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors, so we recommend not using any whiteners. But if you must, please use a non-chlorine bleach..
