The Natural Cotton, Wool and Ultracel Foam Futon Style Mattress. We've taken our most popular style and added a layer of Ultracel foam. We start with a 2" layer of Ultracel foam, wrap it with green cotton and place a 1 inch layer of wool on the outer most layer for comfort, as well as being a natural fire retardant. This wool wrapped cotton futon style mattress offers a natural and safe sleeping package. The Ultracel foam is an excellent choice if you are planning on using on a bi-fold or tri-fold futon frame. A natural sleeping surface, longer resilience, natural dust mite repellent, temperature control and more. These mattresses work great on platform beds, slated beds and can be used on top of a box spring and on bi-fold futon frames.
